Route Network Analysis
SBL Geomatics helps to identify the most efficient routes or paths for allocation of services through RNA. This involves developing a minimal, yet cost effective route design.
Ideal routes can be created by manipulating a cadastral file data or shape files and clipping out specific features like rivers, contours, roads, slopes etc. for analysis.
We design spatial database and model features on a 3D surface for network analysis used by organizations/agencies that manage facilities such as utility, communication and transportation systems. The data provided as shape files or maps are to be further digitized before using them.
- Network analysis can be used in Utility sector to monitor and analyze their distribution systems and meter-reading routes.
- Municipal public works departments use networks to analyze bus and trash routes and to determine best possible plans and leverage
costs.
- Businesses use network analysis to find the optimal routes for the delivery of goods and services.
- Retail stores use network analysis to determine locations, resources and transport facilities. This comes as part of Business Geointelligence.
Through RNA, we give you a more cost effective, environmentally sensitive and economically viable option.
To take an example: In case of an emergency situation, what if the ambulance gets stuck in the crowded traffic mess? At this juncture, RNA can help find the quickest and shortest route to the nearest hospital without getting stuck in the maze of heavy traffic. RNA is quick solution for any disastrous situation in countries that have 911 emergency call facility.
Depending upon the digitized data, DEMs can be generated that can be used to analyze and report corrections and suggest improvisations.
We design geodatabases that facilitate georoute calculations and information storage.
